Soothing, pure, simple, refined: these are a few words to describe the atmosphere of our space. Located in the heart of the city in a heritage-listed building, the restaurant space has been conceptualised by Henderson & Co according to the story of Masumi. The tale is about the creation of Kintsugi, the art of mending broken pieces with gold.

The ethereal concept, achieved by mixing Japanese minimalism and an Australian casual atmosphere is a mirror to the food usually served at the restaurant.

Features:
-56 bespoke American oak portals frame the space, individually lit and adjusted as the day stretches into the night to reflect the tone of the venue,
-Communal table fitting 10 people
-Marble round and square tables with seating for 40 people
-Handmade oxidised copper tiles cladding the bar and chef's table, made in Japan and finished in Sydney.
-Concrete floor with lines of gold, an ode to Kintsugi

The space has 3 different areas (not counting the kitchen):
-A beautiful communal table near the large window
-A main dining space framed by 56 lit oak portals with Kintsugi concrete floor
-A bar and chef's table with handmade oxidised copper tiles

It can be used for:
-Commercial shooting (video and photo)

-Conveniently located between Pitt St Mall and Barangaroo in a street with plenty of food options
